Arrests down
Last season only seven people were arrested at the Kassam Stadium, which is almost half the number arrested during the last season at the Manor. This also bucks the national trend which shows that arrests at Nationwide League games have increased as a whole. Hopefully this shows that United supporters have an inkling of common sense, but the more likely explanation is the improved security at the new stadium.
Brooks up
Jamie Brooks has been allowed home from hospital four months after contracting Guillaume Barré Syndrome, the disease which also struck down Markus Babbel and left him sidelined for over a year. Brooks will now undergo rehabilitation at the Rivermead rehab centre at the Nuffield Hospital as he bids to regain his weight (he went down from eleven stone to just over eight in three months), his musculature and his overall fitness. Brooks is still unlikely to play for United this side of the New Year, but it is encouraging that he seems to be recovering reasonably rapidly and Rage Online wishes him all the best.
