United take on Oldham Athletic at the Manor tomorrow knowing that defeat will mean certain relegation. Avoiding defeat will also mean certain relegation, but not until at least Tuesday when Oxford visit Luton.
After the Bournemouth defeat United have no new injury worries apart from Chris Hackett who, it has been revealed, requires an operation which he will undergo in the close-season. Therefore it is possible that David Kemp will retain the same starting line-up which played at Dean Court, although Manny Omoyinmi is included in the squad and could possibly return to the side.
One worry for United fans is that Matt Murphy, who came on as a substitute for Sam Ricketts last Tuesday, could be recalled to the side. We would rather see Joey Beauchamp start in Rickett's place with Paul Powell on the left wing, but that might require Kemp to make an executive tactical decision.
Bearing in mind United's perverse habit of doing perverse things Rage Online perversely predicts a 2-0 home win. It's been so long since we've predicted a United win that we've forgotten what it feels like. We've certainly never made an accurate prediction before and we don't expect to start now.
