United travel to the Memorial Ground in Bristol tomorrow for their penultimate away game of the season. Rovers are only three points behind swindon with two games in hand and many United supporters will be hoping that Oxford's current form can be maintained as they urge on the Gas in their efforts to overhaul swindon.

United will still be without Paul Tait and Robert Quinn in midfield which mean that, thankfully, the central midfield partnership is likely to be Matt Murphy and Peter Fear again. Rage Online recommends to David Kemp that he picks Lee Jarman and Ian McGuckin as his centre-back pairing. We also prefer Steve Anthrobus up front in place of Andy Scott. It's unfortunate that Simon Weatherstone is no longer around to take up the winger berth.

At least if United win they stand a chance of avoiding the concession of 100 league goals for the season (they've currently shipped 90 goals), but most Oxford fans would rather sacrifice the three pointless points if it means that Rovers overtake swindon.
