Steve's a winner

Shimizu S-Pulse of Japan, managed by former Oxford player Steve Perryman, has reached the final of the Asian Cup Winners Cup. They drew 0-0 against part-timers Bangkok Bank before eliminating the Thai team 4-2 on penalties. In the final they will face Al-Zawra, of Iraq, who beat Novbakhor of Uzbekistan 2-1 in sudden-death extra-time.
