So long as we .......

....... Win our away games and draw our home games we'll do alright in this league.

Cambridge had obviously never had us watched or read any reports about stopping Burgess. They gave us far too much room and paid the price.

Yemi was exhausted at the end, he'd run his little legs off, I think he would have scored the one he rounded the keeper with if he'd have done it at the start of the game instead of the end.

Great support for a Friday night in appalling traffic, loads arrived late as a result.

Great bacon torpedoes, there has been some good food in the conference - beter than most league grounds.

Ref never booked their player when he all but tried to assassinate Pettefer - then forgot to let Pettefer back on and proceeded to book 2 of our players for comparatively inoccuous (sp?) challenges. Tinpot

Got to go - we're supposed to be going away for the weekend and the Mrs. is hassling me.

Other than the mistake to which you refer I thought the ref &amp officials had very good games last night.

Cambridge tried to play football but were hopeless when they got anywhere near our goal. Their centre forward seemed completely incapable of controlling the football, which helped us no end. Courtney Pitt was the same Courtney Pitt who had been at the Kasstad. And they did let us play. And play we did – bossed the game from start to finish.

Great performance from the marauding Hargreaves, boundless energy from Pettifer, intelligent play from Bash, great running all night long from the ever dangerous Yemi, and the defence looked really solid with Wilmot back out there. Superb pubs before the match and a quick journey home. Excellent night all round, the only thing that was missing was the adrenalin rush because the game was never tight and tense, but I’ll quite happily do without that.
