Sean Rigg

Post by joepoolman »

The winger has signed from Port Vale. I thought he looked very dangerous against us for spells on the last day of the season, and he took his goal very well, although I'd say that once Batt worked out his game he had the better of him in one on one situations. But if like me you rate Batt highly that's not too worrying. Also with 10 goals last season hopefully we've got a wide player that gets his fair share (harsh on JPP maybe, jury's still out on his goals tally for me).

Happy with this. I agree with the previous post, hopefully will provide some genuine threat from the wide position. Rigg added with Alfi could potential be very threatening in attack.
It's a good signing and nice and early on, immediatly addressing our current floppyness up front. Think we need one or two more strikers and a better Asa Hall.

Not sure about this one. As with all players it will be a case of let's see what you've got in the locker.

I wonder if Wilder if finally going to switch to 4-4-2.

Woohoo, a signing!

Given his positions for Vale and his history, I can't see this heralding a switch to 4-4-2, Surely this hints at him playing wide of a three?

I thought exactly the same when I heard about this signing.

It's a good move for him, and a good signing for us, so trebles all round I think.
