UE: Wilder is not at all defensive or touchy in post match interviews after our 4-0 defeat. Nor does he send Micky Lew out to bat.

UE: Andy Whing appears on the bench with his hair dyed a shocking pink. As he's no longer ginger the Oxford fans who have til now been booing his every movement decide he is not such a bad chap after all.

Barnet 2 Oxford 1
McLeod, Taylor, Constable
Meanwhile, a lonely northern figure trudges across the hills from the eastern wastelands, heading gloomily home with his faithful cat Mickey by his side. Suddenly he hears a voice "turn again, turn again dick Wilder man". And he does, he does, and he restores all to that that it was before, that lightheartedness and trivia that his Tuesday night had brought. And so it was that the three up front were restored, callow youth removed, and the sturdy strange yeoman from those same eastern parts returned to his rightful right-sided place. Soon the cat Mickey was striding around in boots of finest leather, leaping his stuttery leap amongst the cones that marked his area. Master Smalley's appearance is greeted with wild rejoicing and cheers and Cap'n Wright's new ducking trick brings hilarity to the stands. Only young Hall, the new ostler, is left wondering what he has done wrong as he sits downstairs, sadly cleaning boots.
