Oxvox Forum is back - invite.

Post by bob s »

Just to let you know that the trials and tribulations we have experienced on our forum have now been resolved. (our service provider accidentally deleted the whole lot a few weeks ago and we have had to start from scratch again so to speak)

We hope you will enjoy the new design which is easy on the eye and that we can encourage as many of you as possible to register with us - and it will prove to be a good and alternative forum to the other excellent ones such as this. We think every forum has its own particular personality - and hopefully ours will provide another choice.....but not obviously to be considered a substitute! We read and support ALL forums and will continue to do so.

We are well aware that some of our 'committee bretheren' are politburo types - but I (bob) will be trying to educate them in the fact that when one smiles, it does not hurt or hinder their progression up the VIP stairway to 'heaven'. Think I am gradually convertingTrevor Lambert - and that is no mean feat! So......serious debate as well as light-hearted banter will be encouraged.

PS Trevor here - the trouble with Bob is he can't spot humour half the time anyway. Memo to self - use more of those irritating smiley symbols when posting. (dunno why I acquiessed to TL's request to put this in - I must be going soft! -))

It will be necessary for you to re-register - and if you have our old forum in your favourites, please note the new URL (the old one won't work)....it is:

http://forum.oxvox.org.uk/

You DO NOT have to be a member of oxvox to participate.

Any questions?, may we invite you to click on 'FAQ's' - it is quite comprehensive. (it is situated at the top, to the left of the 'members' and login/out buttons)

Should you have any other query or such, please do not hesitate to get in touch, via 'forum@oxvox.org.uk'

Hope you'll give us a try.

Bob Scholes - Forum Administrator.
Trevor Lambert - Webmaster.

p.s. If OxVox can do surveys then why can't the club do them, as they must have thousands of people on their mailing lists?

Indeed you may ask Snake......but we have Trevor Lambert, a professional statatician who is an expert on these things.........maybe the club should employ him?
