A performance of such dimwittedness, such lack of passion and such lack of craft in the second half that I cannot rouse myself to comment any further.
Henceforth I renouce the title Ascension Ox and become Sackcloth Ox.
Enjoy your evening

Another very poor performance, not helped by the worst first half refereeing display seen by me in a long time.

On Radio Oxford they said that a number of fans stayed behind to given the players stick as they warmed down. Justified imho.
Had they put enough effort in to warrant a warm down?

And another thing ... how come a bunch of part-timers are fitter and faster than a shower of so-called professionals?

What a load of rubbish. And to think we were winning at half time!
Wilder's childish petulance cost us dear. He was obviously more concerned about the ref than his own team at half time, and lo and behold distracted them so much with his sending off that we conceded almost immediately. Clown.
As for the rest of them, what a shower of shit. I applaud anoyone who staued behind to tell them some home truths - I headed for the sanctuary of some of the world's worst pubs, but unfortunately drunk nowhere near enough to wipe the whole sorry episode from my memory.
Watching us lose twice to hayes and yeading in a matter of weeks has to be one of the lowest points in 26 years of watching U's.
See you at the play-offs. If we even make them...

Shower of shit just about sums it up.
We should change our nickname to the Bottlers.

Seems we're not the only ones that get pissed off, really really pissed off with our team. This is brilliant.

I can't be arsed clutching at straws any more. Can't be arsed devising scenarios in which we might fluke are way through the play-offs.
What a load of cock. The ginger tinkerer needs to address the elephants in the dressing room, whatever they are. If he's lost the dressing room, he needs to find it again pretty damn quickly.

Yup, it was 5.45
The players came out to warm down, about 20 or so fellow fans were hanging about (I was waiting for a lift from one of the radio peeps)
One fella strolled up to the players and shouted something like
"You don't need to warm down you never warmed up, Where's your fking heart lads, you don't want it, what are you doing to the supporters. I hope you go lose the next 6 matches and Wilder gets the push" the players all looked very uncomfortable with Franny Green and Jake Wright looking like they'd take the argument further.
The police then came over and removed everyone.
Just before that the ref came past us. I asked him if he would be able to sleep alright tonight with such a inept performance. His linesman glared back but that was it.
Wilder apparently had been ordered to stay in the dressing room by the ref.
Mickey Lewis did the post match interviews and looked very very down indeed.

I bought a ticket for Eastbourne on Tuesday but I managed to sell it halfway through the second half today ... for full price*! Best result of the day!
*well, except for the rip-off "booking fee" but I couldn't bring myself to ask for it and risk losing the deal!)

I'll still be at Eastbourne. As will the family. Madness or what?

Were those new glasses, Sackcloth Ox? Perhaps that's been the problem?

I reckon you should change your handle to "Can't Make His Mind Up Ox" and then stick to it as there is nothing worse than Multis on here.
