There are certainly rumours on various websites, that it is York.

If so I wonder where the money is coming from. They've struggled financially for a few seasons, but have put together a squad of big (for non-league) names this year.

By the same logic as many followers of OUFC use - club money for the first team, then let the fans keep the youth policy going if they want it so badly.....
Ours is not the only perfectly good youth setup in peril because of relegation to the Conference...

Yes I can see that. I just wonder how the policy of paying £80k in trnasfer fees plus what must be pretty high salary demands for this level, when the youth system is floundering, can be justified.

They earnt £300k from their FA Trophy run. Basically they are going promotion-or-bust to get back into the league this season.
