Now confirmed on the OUFC official site:

Thu 16th August Cambridge United v Oxford United

Mon 27th August Stevenage Borough v Oxford United

Tue 4th September Oxford United v Exeter City

Thu 20th September Histon v Oxford United

Thu 11th October Oxford United v Torquay

Thu 1st November Rushden &amp Diamonds v Oxford United

The Cambridge one is good for me as I get back from holiday on 15 August, so would have missed it if it hadn't been changed. The Histon game was on a Friday anyway, so moving it to the Thursday won't make much difference. The real pig is moving the Rushden game away from the Saturday. Not only does it make it a harder game to get to, it also means that we'll have a footy-free Saturday, and I hate that.

On the face of it, the Thursday games versus Cambridge (Burton on the Saturday) and Torquay (Farsley on the Saturday) give the squad little time to recover from knocks and regroup ... doesn't seem very sensible.

This is going to make watching Oxford a very strange and annoying experience. Does anyone know how much money we are getting out of this deal, being by far the biggest team in the division we are going to get mucked about far more than most teams and if they start moving Sat home games I will consider asking for a refund on my season ticket - getting back for mid week games is never very easy.

If the money isn't that much can we just tell them to stuff it?

What's the deal with subscribing to Setanta then? I will probably be able to go to most of those games so don't really want a full subscription. Is there any way to just do pay-per-view for certain matches?

Conference might move the games to Sunday, such as the UEFA Cup teams do in the top flight?

The Setanta subscription covers 8 different channels and includes the Premiership games.

DLT - it also covers Racing UK and the Racing Channel.

Rangers and Celtic TV are also included - &lt irony &gt whoopee! &lt /irony &gt

&quotWhats the damage cost-wise?&quot

A tenner a month via a freeview box (which has a slot for a decoder / subscription card) or £8 month via broadband connection. No fixed term. Details here: http://gb.setanta.tv/gb_index.htm

Thye haven't moved any Sat games yet. The disturbance to my eyes looks no worse than what supporters had to suffer last year. Pleased that we are not being moved to Sunday nights as yet. That slot does not seem right for football.

Yes they have - our away game at Rushden has been moved from sat 3 november to thurs 1 November. Plus a number of other clubs have suffered Saturday changes. Plus other saturday games may have to be moved as a knock-on effect of Setanta moving Tuesday games to Thursdays.

This does look and feel like a massive pain in the arse. I thought a club would have to become premiership successful before their fixtures were messed around with to this extent, but it turns out we can stay crap and still be moved around at the whim of whatever tv company wants to throw us some spare change.

One of the few benefits of crap lower league football is the games kick off at 3pm on a saturday (which is the most convenient time for most supporters after all) and as an exile these fixture changes make things much, much more difficult. Is there anywhere we can do, anyone we can complain to?

I’m also not happy with this rescheduling given that this lot is only up to 1st November and FOUR of our first 18 games are being moved for the delights of TV. At this rate we'll have another SEVEN moved later in the season!

Does anyone know how much we get paid from Setanta for this?

And ffs, just who is going to be sad enough to watch these games apart from the people who support the clubs playing, and how many casuals are going to put off attending if they can watch it at home on their Freeview box?

We really need to get out of this division pronto!
