Many congratulations to Pakistan in beating a very good side to win the T20 World Cup. Thye've come good at the right time.

I've warmeda lot to T20 during this tournament. But my main concern is whether the game of cricket can sustain 3 forms. Obviously at intenrational level it isn't a problem, but at county level, the same resources are just being stretched further.

I would like to see the 50 over game and T20 game replaced by a single 30 over version of cricket. It won't happen of course, but 30 overs would still give the batsment the opportunity to swing the bat, but it might just involve a little more craft in building an innings.

Right, here we go, a big dollop of long running rivalry…

No stressy Division V table to look at for over a month.

No more Scotsmen at Wimbledon to follow.

No more Lions losing in South Africa.

No snooker, Olympics, ping pong or cheese rolling to focus our sporting thoughts upon.

I would say look out for the Oxford shirt on Wed and Thu but as its yellow and will make me look like a Aussie fan I won't be wearing it.

Nothing like a bit of cricket to while away the time waiting for more important sporting events..

Can #oufc/England do the double on Sunday?
