Will proabably get dropped to 10 on appeal, but it is reassuring to know that both clubs that tried to bend the rules have not got away with it (&amp hopefully the loophole has been closed for future).

Two out of three aint bad &amp I suppose none of us really want those Yorkshire money-grabbing pussies taking up valuable Premiership places anyway do we???

Teddy Sherringham, Bobby Zamora &amp Shaun Newton have all recently been caught speeding and/or falsifying information over the offences.

Due to the seriousness of the offences and their status as role models, Met Police Chief commissioner Sir Trevor Brooking announced that their on-the-spot fines would be increased from the normal £60 to a punishing £70. However, they would not be receiving a three point penalty.

Meanwhile, three men in Sheffield have been banned from driving.

Seems like you were wrong, Mooro.

In the recent meeting of Football League clubs 6 of them voted for no sanctions at all in the first vote.

Then 16 clubs voted against the 15 point penalty in the second vote (listed below) but there is no way of telling if they wanted the penalty to be reduced or increased.

Bradford City Burnley Colchester United Darlington Gillingham Ipswich Town Nottingham Forest Plymouth Argyle Queens Park Rangers Sheffield United Sheffield Wednesday Stockport County Stoke City Slumdon Town Watford and our Welsh friends from Wrexham

A decent game to watch on the Telly tonight, imho. And well done to Setanta.

And what an excellent result that was in the end.

A pity West Ham got away with it, but then they are in the Prem.
