One thing I am pleased about is the fact that we have held onto second place throughout the run-in, therefore maintaining the moral high-ground of never having been out of the top two all season.
If there is any justice (snigger) then that would mean the second promotion spot will come to us, and god forbid it doesn't we can at least take a scrap of comfort from the fact that we deserved it and we've only had it cheated away from us by those at footie HQ.

You post on TiU anyway!!! For sure there are all sorts on there, some who may not be as quick to read the net as you can, but not many are as condescending as you seem to be.
Oh, I’ve gone and upset a TiU celebrity.
Ah well, at least you know how to use the English language, which is a lot more than I can say for some of the other folk on there.
Anyway, welcome to the alternative source of discussion about all things Oxford United - and mind your apostrophes is my advice if you want to get along on here.

Thanks for the wholehearted welcome.
I've always tried my best with apostrophes, even to the point of trying (without much success) to get people to write our nickname correctly! But, if even the club themselves mis-use it, what hope is there for the low life on TiU?
At least, thanks to you, I now know that if I ever see it written here, at least it will be written correctly.

It's "misuse" not "mis-use".

It's "It's "misuse", not "mis-use".", not "It's "misuse" not "mis-use".", isn't it?

Yes, but you should have used a combination of double and single quotes to point out that error.
