I particularly enjoyed the moment when Kitson was substituted. What a brilliant day! Obviously players like Potter and Kitson were outstanding but the most pleasing aspect for me was the performance as a team. There were no weak links. One key difference between us and Portsmouth was that when they went a goal down they didn't have a Whing character to ensure they won enough possession to get them back in the game. Hence their heads dropped.
The noise and the atmosphere in our end was the best I can remember for many years. Hopefully we can look forward to many more days like that this season.
