Fortunately they had a 'Big Day' this week too, and more recently than ours. Anyway:

Are you two planning something?

Ha - I should read others' predictions before posting! I'd still say it was unexpected though. I was actually going to put "a la Mike Ford vs Hull" (since I'd predicted a 0-0), but thought that would be showing my age...

In freak weather news, the entire Carolina Panthers preseason camp is picked up by hurricane Irene, hits the gulf stream and lands in Grenoble Road. Duberry holds them off and takes up his new career as strong safety. The search for Harry W finds him curled up behind a teapot. An unshaven man in a camouflage jacket skulks around the stadium, muttering.

Oxford Utd 2 (Constable, Smalley) Aldershot Town 0. Attendance 6,500. Away crowd 450.
Unexpected event: A representative of Slumdon Town appears at half time to apologise for writing on our pitch and PdeC's behaviour last week. He is rewarded with polite applause.

UE well-known lifelong Aldershot fan James Constable scores a brace to sink his boyhood heroes. Meanwhile Paolo do Nazio's friends-in-high-places allow him to make deals to sign an entire international midfield to represent Pighill this week. (The moon-raking public are mildly disappointed when it turns out to be the San Marino ladies hockey team. But they still get a game).
