I bought a ticket for Eastbourne on Tuesday but I managed to sell it halfway through the second half today ... for full price*! Best result of the day!

*well, except for the rip-off &quotbooking fee&quot but I couldn't bring myself to ask for it and risk losing the deal!)

I'll still be at Eastbourne. As will the family. Madness or what?

And me. And Mrs AW. And 3 of my mates and their partners.

I could pull out of the whole weekend and save myself about £500.

But just possibly, we might get to the play off final and, just possibly, win it.

And I would have to celebrate like someone who had been to Eastbourne after all.

There's still a few games to get the form right and then I think it would be ridiculous to write our chances off completely as some seem to be doing.
Message to the players - you lucky bastards, you've screwed up big time but you've got a second chance, now go and prove everyone wrong.

Undue optimism or clutching at straws, I don't know.
What I do know is however much this hurts I am still looking forward to tomorrows match, though logically I cannot phathom why.
