I’m busy at 2:59 tomorrow (my sock drawer really does need tidying up) so I’m going to put in my Mystic Hat entry on Rage Online earlier than expected.

a) 20 kids with no money to speak of looking through the gaps in the gates (there are always at least a dozen at every League game in the corner of the East and North stand whenever I go out for a fag break at half time)
b) A flat top truck full of fans peeking over the fence where one day a different and proper owner will put the 4th and final bit of the Minchery Farm jigsaw into place.
c) People on the mound overlooking the West end of the ground. Fighting breaks out amongst fellow Oxford fans because it’s so over-crowded.
As for Them, then being as it’s their Cup Final then I reckon 39 from Hayes and 29 from Yeading will turn up.
UE1: Since we dropped off the pools coupon on 06/05/06 I’ve only ever wanted Us to lose two games a season, but the TV people who tried marketing Setanta for non-League enthusiasts like Us went bust it’s now just this one. I hope we lose, but I reckon we’ll win and put the £5k FAT winnings and the massive gate money (minus expenses) into IL pocket and get Barrow away in the next round (where we will draw, win the replay and then get drawn away again to someone like Blyth Spartans etc, etc).
UE2: The most predicable UE in the history of predicting unusual events happens. i.e. one or more of our key first team players gets injured or is sent off and is therefore unavailable for a really unimportant game like Cambridge United away.
