Goals from Jamie Cook and James Constable were enough to defeat promotion rivals Luton Town
at Grenoble Road in front of a huge attendance of 10,613 for this Tuesday night fixture.
Constable turned in Matt Green's pull back after Constable had a 3rd minute penalty saved.
Jamie Cook then netted a stunning 25 yard strike past 'keeper Mark Tyler to double the lead.
Luton had midfielder Kevin Nicholls red carded for a scything tackle on Green in the second half.
United remained top of the Blue Square Premier after the win. Hatters manager
Mick Harford vowed that his team would finish above the U's come the end of the season.
Harford was sacked just three weeks later after a poor start to 2009-2010.
