Hull City have announced this morning a "double" rebranding exercise:

They will be come known as Hull City Tigers domestically and Hull Tigers
internationally.

I hate this 'Americanisation' of the football 'brands'.

What use is this? Will it seriously 'grow the brand' more than Hull City Football Club?

just seen it on sky says city is common laughable,one upshot is now you will be able to shade in Hull city tigers whereas you couldn't shade hull city

thinking about it don't the FA have to approve the name change (ie as when we changed from Headington United) so perhaps fans groups could do something
