Tony Capaldi
New left back signs 2 year deal:

Looks to have a decent pedigree but to have lost his way in recent years. Let's hope he finds it again.

Re: Tony Capaldi
Just asked a Cardiff fan in my office for an assessment. "Old and broken" was his description. Still, he was good on Champo for me about 8 years ago, so fingers crossed!

I saw that but it seems to be more aimed at his attitude than ability. Whilst that's still not overly encouraging, I don't believe Wilder suffers fools and so Mr Capaldi will either need to shape up or ship out. There is clearly a good player in there somewhere."A-Ro" wrote:The Morecambe fans on Confforum are laughing very loudly.
i hope i remember correctly, doesnt he have a giant throw? and even if he has a bad attitude you cant ignore over 20 international capps and playing in a fa cup final only 2 years ago, also he had trials with aberdeen and sounds asif we have got him ahead of them
It doesn't matter what people say, I like the 2010/2011 home shirt
Re:
Well if memory serves the last player we could say THAT of was good ol' Degsy Townsley so I'm not sure that's much of a good omen..."Oufc2009" wrote:i hope i remember correctly, doesnt he have a giant throw? and even if he has a bad attitude you cant ignore over 20 international capps and playing in a fa cup final only 2 years ago, also he had trials with aberdeen and sounds asif we have got him ahead of them
Nevertheless the player has clearly backed himself to remain at the higher standard so that at least tells a tale.

Ship out?! I hope his attitude isn't a risk bearing in mind he has signed for 2 years!!"Radley Rambler" wrote:I saw that but it seems to be more aimed at his attitude than ability. I guess he is similar to Sol Campbell. Wasn't it a trip to Morecambe which curtailed his unbelievably short League 2 career?!
