New left back signs 2 year deal:

Looks to have a decent pedigree but to have lost his way in recent years. Let's hope he finds it again.

Just asked a Cardiff fan in my office for an assessment. &quotOld and broken&quot was his description. Still, he was good on Champo for me about 8 years ago, so fingers crossed!

The Morecambe fans on Confforum are laughing very loudly.

I saw that but it seems to be more aimed at his attitude than ability. Whilst that's still not overly encouraging, I don't believe Wilder suffers fools and so Mr Capaldi will either need to shape up or ship out. There is clearly a good player in there somewhere.

i hope i remember correctly, doesnt he have a giant throw? and even if he has a bad attitude you cant ignore over 20 international capps and playing in a fa cup final only 2 years ago, also he had trials with aberdeen and sounds asif we have got him ahead of them
It doesn't matter what people say, I like the 2010/2011 home shirt

Well if memory serves the last player we could say THAT of was good ol' Degsy Townsley so I'm not sure that's much of a good omen...

Nevertheless the player has clearly backed himself to remain at the higher standard so that at least tells a tale.

His uncle, Jim, sang the Seventies classic, 'Love Hurts'...

Cardiff supporting mate said he won't be a bad signing. Has an unbelievably long throw apparently,

His 'bad attitude' stems from the fact that he recently compared Morcambe to a pub side on twitter. A Plymouth fan said he was good at left back but even better at left midfield for them.

No value in having a long thrower in our team with our current personnel. Just look how crap we are at corners without the help of an Imp.

Ship out?! I hope his attitude isn't a risk bearing in mind he has signed for 2 years!!

I guess he is similar to Sol Campbell. Wasn't it a trip to Morecambe which curtailed his unbelievably short League 2 career?!
