One more thing from Sunday
One more thing from Sunday
Just what was going on in letting Burton kick off 10 minutes later then Cambridge. In the end it didn't matter but if we were needing Burton to get a result I would have been very annoyed with Burton not going for it because they knew Cambridge hadn't done their bit - as is what happened, they just weren't bothered for the last 10 minutes.

It annoys me that just about every game on Setanta starts late – it’s just an excuse to get people in their armchairs at kick off time so they can bombard them with an extra four minutes of adverts."ty cobb" wrote:Just what was going on in letting Burton kick off 10 minutes later then Cambridge. But I take your point that at this stage of the season all the games should have kicked off at the same time, and if not then it’s not beyond the realms of technology to communicate that to a handful of referees at different venues if one of more key games have a delayed kick-offs. In fact I think it would be even better if they could coordinate the 2nd halves all starting at the same time.
However, in this poxy league what do they know about fairness?

I was listening to it all on the radio & they kicked off after we did, so unless sills was injured in the warmup then that wasnt the reason."bjoufc" wrote:tim sills had a head injury in the first five minutes so that was what the delay was about
