If we win 2 of our next 3 games (which we should do given that we've two home games against beatable teams) I think we'll be up around the play offs which I think is a good indication of where we'll finish."Peña Oxford United" wrote:After seven games?
Well, Daggers were second with fourteen points - five points behind the runaways leaders, it's true. Morecambe were struggling though. Exeter I can't tell you exactly (though I know they were sixthuntil such time as the relevant Footymad page is available.
Clearly the tables are of limited use this early in the season (but not entirely irrelevant, I think) but you really don't have a lot of basis for claiming we have the best team in the Conference. You can say it, but you've not got much to back it up.
However, if we can't win both games we'll be mid table, and quite frankly if we can't beat the likes of Weymouth, Woking Crawley and Kettering at home then we'll do no better then mid-table.
Personally I think if we cut out the long ball (which Murray b*llocks the defenders for when they do it - clearly against team instructions) then we should be there or thereabouts.
