Re: Still top of the league
I'm a massive Craddock fan but I thought yesterday he was far from his best. He gave the ball away too often. "Strong in the challenge" - plenty of people are of the opinion that he is lightweight. I think you are being very harsh on Constable. It was JC who set up Craddock when he ...

Re: Kitted out
I seem to recall that last season we were entitled to a discount on shirts if you produced a voucher from your season ticket. Is this going to be the same this year? and if so, why have we not got our season tickets yet? Was it to ensure that those people attending the Open Day couldn't enjoy their...

Re: A Stadium of three sides ÔÇô official
Even with a potential of a 14,500|| crowd WPL will not build a temporary fourth one (‘cos it cost too much and is too much hassle) and unless we get into the Prem I’d guess that a capacity of 12,500 will be fine and dandy at the Kassam even at Championship level with this lot in charge of the club’...

Not in this instance. It is being brewed specifically to raise money for the 12th Man at the Annual Headington Beer Festival."A-Ro" wrote:Is the 12th man beer available from any other outlets? For those of us unable to make the festival.

12th Man Beer
Will be on sale at the Masons Arms, Headington during the 10th Headington beer festival next week which runs from Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th September. All profits from the sale of the 12th Man Beer go to the 12th Man fund. There will be approximately 45 beers and 10 ciders available during the festiv...

You can watch tonight's game live on the internet , apparently. Accompanied by the most melodramatic preview I've ever read about a pre-season friendly: " In this Terrific and Wonderful Match both teams will be belligerent for a victory that will allow them to maintain top position and also...

Re: Who's Who
My publishers have asked me to remind you all that there is less than two weeks remaining to pre-order your copy of A Who's Who of Oxford United. This mega all-colour volume costs £25 (plus p||p) and contains loads of new information, lots of photos, and took bloody ages. If I hadn't written it I'd...

Re:
If they take away the overflow car park then the council must provide replacement parking and better public transport links. It would be nice, yes - but "must". Where did that come from? If it were up to me I'd scrap the restrictive parking scheme in the Leys as it was only ever set...

Over to you, Mark.
Or is there something that you know and would like to share with us?

Re:
Quite. The last OxVox quiz night I went to was won by a team from the Oxford Mail, narrowly defeating my team (called the ‘Gang of Four’, even though there were five of us). I remember it well as it was the night Blair took the UK into Iraq and I was nearly late on account of attending a demo in Ca...

They are a small town team, with short term ambitions of being in league 1/2. They are the epitome of tin pottedness (is that a word??) with their awful fans, awful manager and whatr can only be described as a shed of a ground. Saying that they have played, in my opinion, out of their skins this sea...

The post that "Joey Beauchamp is set to replace Paul Hart as the manager or recently relegated Slumdon" and "Swindon are interested in signing Steve Anthrobus and Julian Alsop as a lethal front two pairing to kick start their promotion bid in league 2" are both very b...
