Joel William Cooper. Northern Irish left-winger who joined United on 27 July 2020 on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee from Linfield, where he scored 21 goals and had 29 assists in 81 appearances, winning two titles and the League Cup. He joined Linfield from Glenavon at the end of the 2017/18 season, initially playing with the Linfield Academy for one season. Trained with the Northern Ireland squad in the build-up to the Euros in 2016. Returned to Northern Ireland in October 2020 due to family issues and rejoined Linfield on loan at the start of January 2021, scoring in the Irish Cup final win over Larne on 21 May 2021, in which he was voted Man of the Match. Loaned to Port Vale on 27 January 2022 until the end of the season. Released by mutual consent in May 2022 and rejoined Linfield.
