Gigantic Italian goalie, born in Parma, signed by Jim Smith on deadline day, 2006 on loan from Portsmouth. Unfortunately, his physical stature wasn`t matched by his ability, and his errors were partly to blame for United`s failure to stay in the league. Even Smith recognised this, and he lost his place to previous first choice Billy Turley for the vital last match against Orient. He was shipped out on the first train at the end of the season.
